ABOUT
We won a micro-commission by NOTNOW Collective to create a short film about parenting during lockdown.
‘Wavelength’ focuses on mental wellbeing, finding your identity and ways to connect with others.
- The short film was shot during COVID restrictions in London and Amsterdam.
- It was created in 4 weeks from concept to delivery without crew. As well as acting, we each took over the duties of cameraman, DOP, director and producer.
The project is supported by the Arts Council and is ready to watch.
STORY
2021. Lockdown. Stella lives in London. Eleni lives in Amsterdam. They are raising their children away from their families back in Greece. As they cope with the parenting challenges and isolation, an overheard phone call brings them together through a small act of kindness.
